Abstract
Nasal dermoid sinus cyst (NDSC) is rare congenital abnormalities, presumably arise from inclusion space between the developing nasal bone, frontal bone, and dura. NDSC accounts for approximately 10% of dermoids in the head and neck and 1% of all dermoids. NDSC can present as a pit, a fistulous tract, or a mass. NDSC occurs on nasal dorsum mostly, however it can be found anywhere from the intracranial space at the point of the remnant of the foramen cecum to columella. NDSC should be differentiated from gliomas and encephaloceles. Management is surgical excision, and inadequate excision leads to recurrence. We report a 22-year-old girl with NDSC who successfully managed via the external rhinoplasty approach.
